DBA Holiday Light Up
Saturday, November 12, 2016, 4-7pm Churchill Square, Edmonton
More than 10,000 Edmontonians and their famlies flock to Churchill Square each year for the annual DBA Holiday Light Up to kick off the holiday season in Downtown Edmonton.
Enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment including music and dance, and delicious treats from local food trucks! Join Santa and his helpers in a countdown at 6:30 pm to light up the massive Christmas tree and launch a spectacular fireworks display.

Inside City Hall:
City Market Downtown will be open until 6pm
On the Square:

- Friendly clowns and mascots
At 6:30pm - Mayor Don Iveson will welcome Santa from the North Pole, to officially light the 72-ft Christmas Tree! The tree is adorned with 14-thousand LED lights, cascading snowfalls, sparkles, and stars. After the tree ceremony, a spectacular fireworks show will light up the Downtown sky.

We're looking for volunteers to help bring the Holiday Light Up to life for another year!
Parking for Event Day
Taking public transit to the event is encouraged. Parking is available on a first come first serve basis in the following areas close to Churchill Square:
- On-street meter parking (rates vary)

Food Bank Donations
The Edmonton Food Bank will be on site, along with their mascot "Fill-Up". Help "FiIl-Up" in his quest to help families in our community. Please don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food donation and support the Edmonton Food Bank.
