20th Annual Chili Cook Off– Benefitting the Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters

Chili-slingers from all over Edmonton will be herding into Scotia Place to go head-to-head for the title of the “Ultimate Chili” all while raising money for a great cause. Downtown will feel the heat as thousands of people come out to sample some of the City’s hottest chili recipes. From vegetarian options, to the heartiest of dishes, there is something to please every palate.

Downtown restaurants, hotels, businesses, and community groups are encouraged to enter a team to compete for a chance to win fantastic prizes and the coveted “Ultimate Chili”. This event is not only a great way to bring people together to support a worthy cause but it’s a great way for businesses to encourage teambuilding.

Year after year, the Chili Cook Off boasts an amazing increase of funds raised for the Downtown Business Association’s (DBA) selected Charity. In 2009, over $6,000 was raised to benefit the Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters.
