Downtown Business Association members are invited to participate in the 2020 Downtown Business Association Annual General Meeting on Thursday, October 15, 2020. Due to COVID-19, the AGM will convene at 10:00 am via ZOOM virtual event.
If you plan to participate in the Annual General Meeting, please advise us in advance so that we can verify membership status and eligibility. Please email Mary Davies at firstname.lastname@example.org and once your membership status has been confirmed, a link to the event will be sent to you. The proposed 2021 Budget for the Association and the Slate of Directors to be nominated for 2021, will be presented at the event and members will be able to vote via polling at the virtual event.
Due to COVID-19 and the 2020 AGM being held as a virtual event, any further nominations for the 2021 Board of Directors must be presented, in advance, by emailing Mary Davies at email@example.com. Nominations of a business member can be made by anyone having written authority to represent a member of the Downtown Business Association. The business nominee must also be included in the email and provide notice that they accept their nomination. Both the nomination and acceptance of the nomination must be submitted no later than 12:00 pm noon on October 14, 2020.
