CFR51 brings the Canadian Finals Rodeo back to downtown Edmonton from October 1 to 4, with five action-packed performances at Rogers Place. This year’s condensed format includes four evening shows and a Saturday matinee, building up to the championship final that night.

Expect top-tier competition in all the classic events—bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, and more—as Canada’s best rodeo athletes compete for national titles.
The excitement doesn’t stop there. Head to the Canadian Country Expo at the Edmonton EXPO Centre, a massive western-themed tradeshow featuring rodeo demos, live entertainment, a western art show, and interactive exhibits for all ages. Admission is free, and shuttles will run between the Expo Centre and Rogers Place.

Special events during Rodeo Week you won’t want to miss:
- Oct 1 – The Great CFR Chili Cook Off: Happening today at the Icehouse (beside Rogers Place) from 4–6:30pm. Open to fans 18+, enjoy all-you-can-eat chili and a lively party for just $20 (plus fees/taxes) before heading to the rodeo at 7–9:30pm. Limited walk-up tickets available. - Oct 2 – Chamber of Commerce Pancake Breakfast (Fan Park Tent): Join us from 7:30–10:30am! Free tickets required—last year 1,000 guests attended, let’s make it even bigger this year. Reserve your spot: Pancake Breakfast Tickets.
- Oct 3 – Ropers and Rhinestones Fundraiser at Greta Bar: 4–6:30pm, an after-work cocktails and food event supporting Ladies Break Away Roping athletes. Meet the athletes and some Miss Rodeo Canada contestants, and enjoy either:
- VIP Ticket ($40 + tax/fees): Includes two drinks, two food items, prizes, and shuttle service to/from Rogers Place.
