Chiseled – Edmonton’s Ice Carving Exhibition

Edmonton’s International Ice Carving Competition returns to ICE District Plaza from January 15–17, 2026. Teams of skilled carvers work with 15 blocks of ice over 34 hours to create intricate sculptures, offering a captivating display of creativity and precision.

Visitors are encouraged to stop by throughout the competition to watch the process unfold. Finished sculptures will remain on display until January 27, weather permitting, providing plenty of time to admire the artistry.
