The I.A.M. Collective (Indigenous Art Market Collective) and the Art Gallery of Alberta are having a special weekend market on July 29 and 30 celebrating local Indigenous talent. This market is named CREATE, which in Cree is kanihtâwihtahk kîkway, ᑲᓂᐦᑖᐃᐧᐦᑕᕁ ᑮᑲᐧᕀ (translating to “When Something is Given Life”).
This market is taking place in the entrance of the AGA and is free to experience and shop. You can enjoy the gallery for the price of general admission. The AGA is free for students and youth all year long. Join to see the amazing creations by these talented artists.
