Join the Art Gallery of Alberta for a Special Halloween edition of its film program on Friday, October 13. The gallery is showing two ghostly films with standout writer/directors: the critically-acclaimed physiological horror Get Out directed by Jordan Peele and Ari Aster’s feature film debut Hereditary. Both films will be screened in Ledcor Theatre – enjoy one film for $10 or both for $15.
This event is open to all, however please note that the films are rated 14A.

Get Out is a 2017 social thriller written and directed by Jordan Peele in his directorial debut. It stars Daniel Kaluuya and Allison Williams, with Bradley Whitford, Caleb Landry Jones, Stephen Root, and Catherine Keener in supporting roles.
8pm | Hereditary (2019)
Hereditary is a 2018 American psychological supernatural horror film written and directed by Ari Aster in his feature directorial debut. Starring Toni Collette, Alex Wolff, Milly Shapiro, Ann Dowd, and Gabriel Byrne, the film follows a grieving family tormented by a demonic entity after the death of their secretive grandmother.
