The second concert of the series features two of Canada’s generational chamber music talents (different generations). Sumptuous string sextets by Richard Strauss and Erich Wolfgang Korngold with guests Cameron Crozman (cello) and Steven Dann (viola). The GSQ will also perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s mind-blowing “Dissonance” string quartet.
The Garneau String Quartet 2024/25 Concert Series is an intimate and immersive series featuring guest artists such as Angela Cheng, CBC’s Tom Allen, Lori Gemmel, Steve Dann, Cameron Crozman, and members of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. The quartet is comprised of members of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra: violinists Robert Uchida and Laura Veeze, violist Keith Hamm, and cellist Julie Hereish.
