The music of the most popular band leader of the big band era gets revisited and reimagined in the Don Berner Big Band season opener!

Some Glenn Miller favourites will be recreated with an authenticity unparalleled, while others will be reimaginings of these seminal works! What if “In the Mood” or Little Brown Jug” had been written or arranged…TODAY? Find out when the DBBB teams up with the Alberta Band Association to present our season opener, featuring guest soloists from among Alberta’s finest young jazz musicians in the ABA’s “Alberta Jazz Ensemble”! This will be an amazing opportunity for these young students and for the Don Berner Big Band!
