Presented by Cheryl Whiskeyjack, Executive Director of the Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society
June is Indigenous History Month. Cheryl will share stories about Bent Arrow as they approach 30 years of serving Edmonton and Areas Indigenous Community. Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society is committed to building upon the strengths of Aboriginal Children, youth and families to enable them to grow spiritually, emotionally, physically and mentally so that they can walk proudly in both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities. After almost 30 years, Bent Arrow invites the settler community to walk proudly in two worlds. Cheryl will share stories of how Bent Arrow has invited our diverse Edmonton community to step into our vibrant world and begin to see this beautiful place with an Indigenous lens.
