Light Up and Celebrate The Season

Each December, the Legislature Grounds come alive with festive lights, live music and family-friendly activities. Enjoy choral performances in the stunning Rotunda, warm up with hot chocolate, explore the Visitor Centre and experience one of Edmonton’s most charming holiday traditions.

The annual Light Up from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. kicks off the celebration with a joyful countdown and the illumination of the Legislature’s Christmas tree, followed by performances and free activities throughout the Queen Elizabeth II Building.

Multiple performance days and times are available throughout December on Fridays and Saturdays.
