A week of music, culture, and community in downtown Edmonton’s newest urban park.

O-day’min Park, formerly known as Warehouse Park during construction, is officially open in the heart of downtown! The celebration lasts all week long with community programming, from Indigenous performances and glowing projections to family-friendly workshops, live music, and cozy treats. The Downtown Ambassadors will be onsite daily, greeting visitors, sharing local insights, supporting downtown businesses, and helping everyone feel safe and welcomed in the heart of the city.

All of the week’s exciting programming has been thoughtfully organized by Foundry Events, whose expertise and creativity have brought O-day’min Park to life.


Friday, November 7 – 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. | Grand Opening

O-day’min (Heart Berry) Park Projection – Sokaris Studio and artist Jcat illuminate the park with an animated story of the Heart Berry, connecting the park’s name to the land through art and light.

SPILT Mocktail Bar – Alberta’s first dedicated mocktail bar serves signature hot toddies, keeping hands warm and spirits high.

Abraham Lake Singers – A traditional drum group of Stony and Cree tribes shares songs, stories, and teachings honoring Indigenous culture.

Jaynine McCrae – Inuk performer from Kugluktuk, Nunavut, brings Inuinnait culture to life with drumming, song, and storytelling.

Roger Dallaire – French-Canadian musician and folklorist leads hands-on workshops with songs, jigs, and storytelling.

Le Fuzz Duo – Edmonton’s global groove act blends languages, rhythms, and cultures into an irresistible live experience.

Downtown Ambassadors – Friendly local guides will be on site to welcome visitors, answer questions about downtown, and provide information about nearby businesses.


Saturday, November 8 – 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. | Play in the Park

5 Elements Lion Dance & Drum Crew – A dynamic performance blending traditional and modern choreography.

Glow Sports – Play with glowing basketballs and enjoy active fun for all ages.

Dance Party with DJ January – Edmonton-based DJ blends hip-hop, R&B, and electronic beats for a high-energy afternoon.

Downtown Ambassadors – On site to answer questions, provide directions, and ensure a welcoming downtown experience.


Sunday, November 9 – 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. | Slow Sunday

Acoustic Performances – Suraiya, Amanda Gendron, and Curt Young bring live music to the park.

Circus Workshop – Family-friendly activities that get kids and adults moving and laughing.

Edmonton Cause Players – Cosplay experiences delight visitors of all ages.

Seeka Sings – Interactive children’s music and movement.

Roger Dallaire & Le Fuzz Duo – Local performers continue their immersive workshops and global grooves.

Fawkes Cafe & Bakery – Enjoy 100 freshly-made donuts in four flavours.

Downtown Ambassadors – Here to assist visitors with downtown info and answer questions.


Monday, November 10 – 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. | Meet Us Out Of Office

Circus Workshop & Musical Performances – Liz Lauer, Curt Young, and Uncle Joe provide music, movement, and cultural storytelling.

Downtown Ambassadors – Available for guidance, questions, and friendly conversation.

Hula Hoop Circus & GABS – LED hula hoops and glowing lantern art interactive for all ages.
