Symphony for Kids returns with the timeless tale of Peter and his animal friends, brought to life by the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
The classic orchestral fairy tale of an adventurous child and his encounter with a wolf returns to the Winspear stage this November.
Peter and the Wolf tells the story of a young boy who bravely confronts a menacing wolf with help from his animal friends. The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra performs the whimsical score that cleverly introduces young audiences to different musical instruments, while the narrative unfolds live on stage.
Symphony for Kids concerts are designed as the perfect introduction to orchestral music for young listeners. Family-friendly activities will be available in the lobby before the concert—be sure to arrive early and enjoy the fun (and fresh popcorn).
This concert will not include an intermission.
