RAM Festival offers a rare chance to see what happens behind the galleries at the Royal Alberta Museum. With over 5 million objects and specimens in the collection, the work of conserving, cataloging, and researching each piece is an ongoing effort.
You’ll meet the people who make it all possible, from curators and conservators to exhibit staff and designers. Learn firsthand about the research, care, and creativity that bring Alberta’s natural and cultural history to life.

The festival is open to all ages, runs for over two hours, and is free with general admission.
