Uncover the stories of rare quilts from the Royal Alberta Museum's collection
We invite you to join us for an old-fashioned quilt bed-turning event with Lucie Heins, acting curator of Daily Life and Leisure at Royal Alberta Museum (RAM). Lucie will be sharing the history of select quilts from the RAM collection vault, including several quilts featured in her book: Alberta Quiltmakers and their Quilts.
Event dates & times: Friday, March 25 at 10:30 am; 12:30 pm; 2:30 pm and Saturday, March 26 at 10:30 am & 1:00 pm.
Event duration: 1 hour
Location: Roundhouse at the Royal Alberta Museum
Capacity: Limited to 25 places per bed-turning session.
