The Works Art & Design Festival transforms downtown Edmonton with visual art, interactive exhibits, and creative experiences in indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the core.
Explore free installations and pop-ups, hands-on workshops for all ages, artist-led tours, and vibrant exhibits that celebrate our connection to nature. See work from local and national artists, catch live performances at the street stage, and relax on the licensed patio in Churchill Square.
This year’s Gateway installation features imagery by Dwayne Martineau, alongside a green roofs showcase, botanical art experiences, and a playful motel designed for the city’s pigeons. The festival runs for 11 days including Canada Day and highlights local partners like Latitude 53 and Alberta Craft Council Gallery, who bring visual art to downtown all year long.
