Behind the Scenes with Sysco
We were thrilled to have Sysco Edmonton come on board as a Downtown Dining Week presenting sponsor once again. Sysco is the driving force behind many of your favourite Downtown Edmonton restaurants, working to supply them with everything from fresh ingredients for your favourite dishes, to training materials for your amazing staff you get to know and love, to new menu ideas to mix things up.
This year, Sysco and the DBA went behind the scenes and into four kitchens to see the head chefs prepare tasty creations. We visited Chef Steven Koch at Rocky Mountain Ice House, Chef Jesse Morrison-Gauthier at The Common, Chef Trevor Johnston at Madison’s Grill, and Chef Lino Oliveria at Sabor to see fresh products and fresh ideas in action.
