The Best Downtown Markets

Whether you're after fresh produce, a fashionable piece of jewelry of vintage clothing, there's a market in Downtown Edmonton for you

Start your weekend off right with a visit to our Downtown markets for top-quality fruit and veg, meat, fish, bread and artisan products from local vendors.

The Downtown Edmonton Farmers Market is a year-round stop for all your produce and grocery needs and has been an Edmonton favourite for years. Located in the historical GWG building on 97 Street, this farmers market is buzzing on Saturdays and Sundays with more than 80 vendors selling fresh seasonal fruits, veggies, meat, cheese and other provisions to stock your kitchen cupboards. Looking for local bread, Alberta honey or BC cherries? This is the place to get your weekly haul. On Saturdays, the market spills onto the neighbouring street with food trucks, patio tables and even more vendors and artisans to check out. Bring your pup for a dog-friendly Downtown outing. Best of all, there’s free parking available. Free parking is available behind the building.

Head to 104 Street on Saturdays to shop at Al Fresco on 4th. There you’ll find a range of local goods and summer delights from local creative artisans, food vendors, and more. While you’re there, have a morning coffee or lunch on the numerous restaurant and cafe patios lining the street.

Campio Summer Market is hosted by Alexander & Rose, so you know you’ll always find top quality local and vintage goods while sipping on a cold brew. The market takes place in the Campio Brewing Co. parking lot every other Saturday during the summer. This market is both family- and pup-friendly, so you are encouraged to bring your entire gang down for a truly unique shopping and dining experience. During the winter months, follow Alexander & Rose on social to find out about their pop-markets held in the basement of Campio.
