The highly anticipated annual arts festival, Purple City Music Festival, is happening this August 25 to 27. This year’s lineup boasts a roster of over 60 stellar artists, celebrating some of the most vibrant, diverse and innovative sounds from the global music scene. Headliner’s include Los Angeles hardcore punk supergroup, OFF!, and the Prog-infected psyche rock of Frankie & The Witch Fingers.
The entire festival will be all ages and licensed. The festival will take place in downtown Edmonton and features 7 stages within a walkable, 2-block radius. Venues include The Starlite Room, Temple Stage, River City Revival House, both floors of the Freemasons Hall of Edmonton, McDougall United Church, the Downtown Edmonton Community League (DECL).
Brand new to the festival this year is a free outdoor stage and block party, with music programming running 2pm – 8pm on August 26th & 27th.
