Thank you for a great first year at Rice Howard Way!
This year’s Downtown Holiday Light Up was packed with art, activities, food and music. From 3-8 PM on December 3, Rice Howard Way was packed with people sipping on hot chocolate, munching on roasted chestnuts, taking selfies with the art installations, making lanterns to take home, shopping at the Christmas Market, humming along to the Christmas carols and rolling up sticks of maple taffy. We’re glad you came!
Claire is hanging out in the Pedway over 101 Street facing 103 Avenue. She’s all lit up and surrounded by icebergs by Tessa Stamp. You can see Claire the Polar Bear when you walk or drive by at any time, day or night.
Find Bryson at the former location of the Warming Hut, street level east near Guest Services. There, you’ll also be able to watch a projection wall by Sokaris Studios that features animals walking through a snowy forest
Lights, music, art.
