Downtown Traffic Control Box Art
The Edmonton Downtown Business Association worked with the City of Edmonton and various partners in the downtown community to create colorful, meaningful wraps to beautify the area’s traffic control boxes. Downtown businesses and organizations are doing cool things in our community (and beyond) and these pops of colour pay homage to their stories and successes.

Stantec
Each piece of original artwork was created in collaboration with one of Stantec’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to celebrate diversity and inclusion in Edmonton. The ERGs are a collection of employees with an affinity for diversity who share a common interest or background. They work together to support each other and find solutions to achieve a genuinely inclusive workplace and diverse workforce.
The boxes show five hand-drawn perspectives of an iconic Edmonton scene, reflecting the different viewpoints ERGs encourage. Stantec Tower is present in each as a central part of our city, and pops of movement and colour in the backgrounds bring the static skyline to life.
