Good Space provides beautiful co-working space in the heart of Downtown

Mercer Warehouse is bringing back its co-working space in hopes of bringing the same energy Downtown that Startup Edmonton did in 2012.
“We truly have something unique and different here that Downtown needs.”

Mercer Warehouse is hoping to once again be a hub for some of the brightest minds in our city.

Kelly, Devin and Lara Pope have re-opened the top floor of the Mercer Warehouse as a new work space, where Startup Edmonton got its start in 2012.

“I’m looking to bring that energy back Downtown,” said Devin. “We want to bring the tech industry, we want to start throwing events, meet-ups and hack-a-thons.”

When the space is completed there will be 30 offices for rent, but there’s also landing spots in the common area for people to get out of their office, as well as desk space.

“I’m so excited for people to experience a space where so many Edmonton-based companies got their start,” said Lara. “It’s the start of something new, while honouring our roots.

“We truly have something unique and different here that Downtown needs.”

The space is beautifully crafted with exposed brick, hardwood floors and expertly decorated to create an aesthetically pleasing and cozy office space. It also includes nods to the past.

“Keeping to our core, one of the chandeliers is from Mercer Tavern, the restaurant I managed before The Druid moved in,” notes Devin.

The offices come furnished and the common space includes amenities like a walking pad, cozy furniture, and bike storage. Parking is available for rent at two nearby parking lots for the cheapest price you’ll find in any major city centre.

“Our [office] pricing is competitive because we’re not a co-working company, we’re the landlord,” said Devin. “We’re renting to fill it so people will be getting a really nice space at an affordable price.”

Small offices can be rented starting at $600 a month, medium-sized offices start at $1,000, and a ‘hot desk’ is $350 per month. For more information, email leasing@thegather.co and visit www.thisisgoodspace.com.
