Alberta Craft Council workshops

Join the Alberta Craft Council every Saturday from May 16 to October 10 for hands-on craft workshops at the 104 Street farmers’ market.

Please note: This is a drop-in workshop, so pre-registration is not available through Eventbrite or on-site. Simply stop by anytime during workshop hours! If every seat is full when you arrive, we’ll give you a buzzer so you can explore the market while you wait for the next available spot.

Bike valet + mechanic station

Come find the valet on the corner of 104 Street and Jasper Avenue to park your bike!

Bike valet: Park your bike with the volunteers from Paths for People and Bike Edmonton for free monitored parking on the last Saturday of every month. Volunteers will tag and secure your bike so you can browse the market with peace of mind.

Mechanic station: Get a free bike check and basic repairs from Bike Edmonton volunteers on the last Saturday of every month.

Make a full day out of your market trip. Once you finish exploring the stalls on 104 Street, check out these major community events kicking off across downtown this Saturday.

Edmonton Pride Parade & Trans March: Head downtown this Saturday, Aug. 22, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to cheer on the parade as it starts at Churchill Square and ends at ICE District’s Fan Park. Then keep the celebration going all weekend long at the Fan Park with live music, drag performances, and local vendors.

Edmonton Dragon Festival: Head to 96 Street and Kinistinâw Park this weekend, Aug. 21 to 23, for a free street festival featuring high-flying lion dance championships, a night market, live music, and family activities starting daily at 9 a.m.

O-day’min Daze: Head to the brand-new O-day’min Park this Saturday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. for an Indigenous-led celebration featuring live music, local artisans, food, and community art.

Summer Block Party: Head to the Rice Howard Way Entertainment District this Saturday, Aug. 22, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. to enjoy patio vibes and free live performances featuring steelpan, West African drumming, reggae, R&B, and a Caribbean DJ set.

Don Berner Big Band Goes Underground: Stop by Central LRT station from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for live big band jazz from the Don Berner Big Band, featuring special guests the Murray Smith Quintet.
