Stalk the Market

Join us for a special one-day experience at the market. Start at Picnic HQ to pick up your passport, explore the stalls, and find all six veggie friends to enter to win a picnic pack for two from our 104 Street restaurant partners.

Winners can enjoy their lunch in nearby Michael Phair Park, Beaver Hills House Park, or O-day’min Park.

HOW TO PLAY:

  • Pick up a picnic passport at Picnic HQ
  • Explore the market and find all six veggie friends
  • Enter the draw for a lunch for two from our local partners
  • Winners announced hourly at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm
    • Must be present to accept your prize!

Bike Party with YEG Bike Coalition

Join Yeg Bike Coalition this Saturday, May 30, for a special market bike celebration. Drop your ride at the free valet and join in on the activities. All ages and abilities welcome!

Bike bingo: Pick up a card at the market and play for prizes from 10 am–3 pm.

Group ride: Wrap up your market visit with a community group ride to a local brewery starting at 3:30 pm.

Bike valet + mechanic station

Come find the valet on the corner of 104 Street and Jasper Avenue to park your bike!

Bike valet: Park your bike with the volunteers from Paths for People and Bike Edmonton for free monitored parking on the last Saturday of every month. Volunteers will tag and secure your bike so you can browse the market with peace of mind.

Mechanic station: Get a free bike check and basic repairs from Bike Edmonton volunteers on the last Saturday of every month.

Alberta Craft Council workshops

Join the Alberta Craft Council every Saturday from May 16 to October 10 for hands-on craft workshops at the 104 Street farmers’ market.

Throughout the market season, explore a wide range of materials, tools, and processes through workshops that highlight both traditional and contemporary craft techniques. Learn directly from Alberta artists and ACC staff in a relaxed, welcoming environment where you can experiment with new materials, work with professional tools, and pick up new skills along the way. From drop-in classes and demos to guided, step-by-step workshops, there is something for everyone.
