The Edmonton Downtown Business Association (EDBA) is an independent body from the City of Edmonton and is responsible for the Edmonton Downtown Business Improvement Area (BIA).
The Edmonton Downtown Business Association works on behalf of our members to shape a welcoming Downtown experience supporting and creating opportunities for businesses to succeed in the heart of Alberta’s capital city.
From 2026 – 2027, the EDBA will focus and prioritize its work based on the following strategic priorities:
- Foster deeper connections with members and champion their success
- Convene and elevate the businesses and partners shaping Downtown
- Create and promote vibrancy
- Support and advocate for safety and security
