Alberta Craft Council workshops

Join the Alberta Craft Council every Saturday from May 16 to October 10 for hands-on craft workshops at the 104 Street farmers’ market.

Registration: This workshop offers both advance registration and same-day registration to accommodate both pre-planned participants and farmers market visitors. Half of the available spots can be reserved in advance through Eventbrite, while the remaining spots are held for same-day registration on a first come, first served basis. Same-day registration starts at 10:30 am when the market opens for all workshop time slots offered throughout the day.

Bike valet + mechanic station

Come find the valet on the corner of 104 Street and Jasper Avenue to park your bike!

Bike valet: Park your bike with the volunteers from Paths for People and Bike Edmonton for free monitored parking on the last Saturday of every month. Volunteers will tag and secure your bike so you can browse the market with peace of mind.

Mechanic station: Get a free bike check and basic repairs from Bike Edmonton volunteers on the last Saturday of every month.

Plus: Enjoy FREE treats for cyclists from Credo Coffee & Fawkes Café & Bakery while supplies last.

EMF x Secret Walls: Paint Battle & Block Party: Continue your downtown adventure with an evening of live art, music and entertainment at Carbon Graphics. Watch artists create large-scale murals in real time while enjoying local DJs, breakdancing and a drag battle from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Learn more and get tickets online.

Downtown Belonging Series: Celebrate culture, creativity and community at O-day’min Park during this free, family-friendly gathering. Enjoy live performances, wellness activities, interactive art, storytelling, local vendors and opportunities to connect with community organizations from noon to 5 p.m.

Edmonton Art Crawl: Explore three days of free arts programming across downtown Edmonton during Edmonton Art Crawl. On Saturday, visitors can enjoy artist talks, live painting demonstrations, rooftop jazz, a collaborative community canvas project and behind-the-scenes studio experiences, all within walking distance of one another.

Kejia Festival: Make your way to Louise McKinney Riverfront Park for a three-day celebration of food, culture and live entertainment. Enjoy more than 50 global street food offerings, live performances and river valley views at this free-admission festival running throughout the Labour Day weekend.

Summer Block Party: Head to the Rice Howard Way for an afternoon of live music, patio vibes and Entertainment District fun in the heart of downtown. This week’s lineup features award-winning singer-songwriter Ben Sures alongside DJs spinning Afrobeats, Amapiano, house music and more from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Don Berner Big Band Goes Underground: Stop by Central LRT station from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for live big band jazz from the Don Berner Big Band, featuring special guests the Doug Berner Quintet.
