The annual 5 Artists 1 Love exhibition returns for its 20th anniversary, celebrating the incredible range of Edmonton’s African-Canadian communities. From Angola to Zanzibar, this exhibition explores the rich tapestry of the African diaspora through the eyes of both emerging and established local artists.
To mark two decades of “Fierce Art & Soul,” curator Darren W. Jordan has invited 20 esteemed alumni to return to the gallery. These artists bring new works that reflect their artistic evolution and global experiences since they first shared their voices with the 5A1L community. It is more than an art show; it is a celebration of legacy, culture, and creative brilliance in the heart of the city.
