Celebrate Rodeo Week with an inspiring documentary screening, local treats and a live conversation with filmmaker Cheryl Foggo.
Edmonton, it’s Rodeo Week! Put on your boots and head to the Citadel. Let’s watch a movie.
After the Credits screens John Ware Reclaimed, Cheryl Foggo’s National Film Board documentary about the Black rancher whose name is on an Alberta ridge, a creek and a school, yet who still seems unknown. Director Cheryl Foggo joins us in person. Doors at 6:00 with popcorn and local treats, film at 7:00. After the film, stick around and let’s talk about what we just watched.
Friday, October 9 at Zeidler Hall, Citadel Theatre. Tickets $20-$25, ages 13+. Come dressed in western wear.
