The Canadian Finals Rodeo is returning to downtown Edmonton! Expect top-tier competition in all the classic events—bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, and more—as Canada’s best rodeo athletes compete for national titles.
This year’s event includes four evening shows and a Saturday matinee, building up to the championship final that night. Get your Rodeo tickets here.
The excitement doesn’t stop there. Head to the Canadian Country Expo at the Edmonton EXPO Centre, a massive western-themed tradeshow featuring rodeo demos, live entertainment, a western art show, and interactive exhibits for all ages. Admission is free, and shuttles will run between the Expo Centre and Rogers Place.

CFR Tailgate Party

Location: ICE District Plaza
Kick off each rodeo day with a FREE tailgate party! Enjoy games, mechanical bull rides, live music, photo op stations, strolling entertainment and more. Plus, there’ll be a food truck and full-service bar on site.
The Great Canadian Chili Cook Off
When: October 9, 4 PM–10 PM
Location: The Canadian Icehouse
Sample incredible chili creations from some of Edmonton’s top culinary teams, cast your vote for the People’s Choice winner, and then head straight into the arena for an unforgettable night of Canadian Finals Rodeo action. Tickets are limited, so get yours before they’re gone!
