Experience a hand-picked selection of feature films, documentaries, shorts and regional cinema showcasing the diversity of Indian filmmaking.
For its 12th edition, the India Film Festival of Alberta draws on the five elements—Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space—known in Indian philosophy as the Pancha Bhuta. They are the foundation of all life, and they are honoured in Indigenous traditions around the world. Where these elements meet, cultures meet too. Through film, music, dance and art, IFFA 2026 celebrates the intersections between Indigenous communities of Canada and India, bridging cultures through cinema.
Get your tickets to the Tiffin Talkies at Landmark Cinemas City Centre before they sell out! These lunch-hour films are paired with a curated (and delicious) Indian meal.
