Every Saturday from 1-4 pm, the Art Cart pops up with everything you need to explore, experiment, and have fun with art. From simple hands-on projects to open-ended making, our educators bring the supplies and creative prompts—you bring the curiosity and imagination.
Perfect for kids, families, and anyone who loves to create, the Art Cart is a welcoming space to play with materials, try new ideas, and connect with your community through art. No registration required—just stop by, get inspired, and make something memorable together.

May 23: Carve, Press, Repeat!
Try your hand at relief printing! Carve a design in foam, press it onto paper and repeat. Create a series of three mini prints to keep or share with friends.

Churchill Square brings people together—let’s spread kindness! Paint a bold, colourful poster with a happy message to share joy with the community.

Squish, shape and build! Transform a lump of plasticine into a creative creature. Start with a simple armature or frame, then add clay to bring your animal to life.
Jun 13: Scratch Art
Colour it all in, then scratch it out! Layer oil pastels and carve lines and patterns to reveal a textured drawing underneath.
