On Saturdays (and select Sundays) from June 20 to September 19, 2026, Rice Howard Way is turning up the volume with live music, patio energy, local businesses, and Entertainment District activity in the heart of downtown Edmonton. During permitted event hours, alcohol purchased from participating businesses can be enjoyed on the street within the designated district boundary.
This Saturday:
Experience blues-soaked slide guitar, raw folk storytelling, fiddle-driven tradition and full-band country energy at one final afternoon On The Way.
3 PM: Sean Pinchin
Soulful roots songwriting and JUNO-nominated slide-guitar talent from a seasoned touring artist who knows the direct route is rarely the most interesting one.
3:45 PM: Stella Johnson
Intimate folk songwriting, rock-inspired vocals and an emerging Edmonton voice with no intention of staying politely in the background.
4:30 PM: Zach Moostoos-Willier
Neo-traditional country, bluegrass spirit and fiddle-forward storytelling rooted in classic sounds and carried firmly into the present.
5:30 PM: The Dungarees
Soaring Telecaster, steel guitar, tight harmonies and modern country intensity from one of Alberta’s most decorated country groups.
