On Saturdays (and select Sundays) from June 20 to September 19, 2026, Rice Howard Way is turning up the volume with live music, patio energy, local businesses, and Entertainment District activity in the heart of downtown Edmonton. During permitted event hours, alcohol purchased from participating businesses can be enjoyed on the street within the designated district boundary.

Summer Block Party returns on Saturday, September 5, and the first name on the lineup belongs to award-winning artist Ben Sures, an Edmonton singer-songwriter with dazzling acoustic guitar, a dry sense of humour and a talent for finding the larger human story inside life’s smallest details.
1 PM | Ben Sures
A local and international hit.
2 PM | Rudy Roman
Open-format range, house-music instincts and more than a decade behind the decks.
3 PM | Keez & Eliza
Two DJs sharing the decks, bringing Afrobeats, Amapiano, R&B, Dancehall and global sounds to the block.
4 PM | Nick Degree
One of Canada’s leading Amapiano voices, with Afro House, Afrobeats and serious dance-floor credentials.
5 PM | Jade Tang
House, melodic house and techno, Afro House and tech house from an Alberta DJ and producer whose performances have taken her across Canada and around the world.
