The City Hall Rink is officially open for the season, weather permitting, from 9 AM to 10 PM.
You can get FREE skate rentals at these times:
- Monday – Friday: 9 – 5 PM
- Saturday: 12 – 9 PM
- Sunday: 12 – 5 PM
Plus, join in FREE Learn to Skate sessions on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:30 – 1:30 PM!

Ice Grooves
Bring your cool moves to City Hall Plaza Ice Grooves! Skate and dance along to live DJs every Friday and Saturday night from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

Swing’n Skate
Swing‘n Skate will be back at City Hall on Sundays from 1:00 – 4:00 pm throughout January and February. Show off your best moves to some swing, big band, soca, salsa and more inside Edmonton City Hall. If you’d rather be outdoors, the music will be broadcast directly outside for ice skaters at City Hall Plaza.
