MEET THE ARTIST
Natasia Design
Bold, vibrant, and community-driven.
Natasia is an Edmonton-based artist and designer known for her ability to translate complex community stories into striking visual art. Her work often explores the intersection of nature, local identity, and the small moments that make a neighbourhood feel like home.
With a background in both fine art and graphic design, Natasia creates work that is as intentional as it is beautiful. She is a firm believer in the power of public art to connect people to their surroundings and to each other. By blending bold typography with intricate doodle art, she captures the unique “heartbeat” of urban spaces.
For this initiative, Natasia’s goal was to create pieces that act as a functional canvas—allowing people to carry the spirit and energy of downtown with them wherever they go.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Two designs. 10 shops. One heart of the city.
This initiative celebrates the spirit of our local business community through the lens of Edmonton artist Natasia Design. We’ve commissioned two limited edition totes that capture the different ways we experience the heart of the city.
Different is Good
This design is a tribute to the movement of downtown life. It celebrates the commuters, the creators, and the daily energy of the people who occupy and animate our urban core. It is for those who love the pace and the pulse of the city.
Find Your Fun
A more whimsical take on our neighbourhood, this design features bold typography and doodle art iconography. It highlights the hidden gems and playful moments that make exploring our local shops a discovery. It is a reminder that there is always something new to find when you wander.
