The Festival city winds music society invites the public to its final concert of the regular season, titled All the earth’s children. Under the direction of Wendy J. Grasdahl and Dr. Eila Peterson, this performance brings together the society’s four distinct bands—Novice, Concert, Symphonic and the Symphonic wind ensemble—for an evening of diverse musical selections.
Set within the historic and acoustically rich First Presbyterian Church, the concert serves as a showcase of the talent and dedication of local wind musicians. From novice performers to seasoned ensemble members, the evening promises a vibrant program that celebrates the power of community music-making in the heart of downtown Edmonton.
