Organized by the Hakka Tsung Tsin Association of Edmonton, Kejia festival debuts this Labour Day weekend as an outdoor food and cultural celebration along the riverfront. Hosted at Louise McKinney Riverfront Park, the three-day event transforms the green space into a bustling street food market featuring comfort bites, sweet treats and global dishes served up by local-led kitchens and indie pop-up chefs.
Beyond the food stalls, the festival features continuous live music and performances from over 20 artists, highlighting everything from indie-folk harmonies to energetic dance groups. Designed as an inclusive, roaming tasting tour, it offers an accessible space for families, students and food lovers to explore new flavours while taking in the river valley views.
