Award-winning documentary on Delwin Vriend’s landmark human rights case
This special screening features Pride vs. Prejudice: The Delwin Vriend Story, an award-winning documentary about the landmark case of a gay Alberta teacher whose firing led the Supreme Court to recognize sexual orientation as a human right.
The evening includes a performance by local drag artist Hot Wheelz and a short Q&A with director Darrin Hagen. Tickets include general museum admission, allowing guests to explore the galleries and the Delwin Vriend exhibit, as well as Orcas: Our Shared Future before it closes on October 19.
