The beloved historic streetcars are back on the rails.

Celebrate the long weekend by hopping on the High Level Bridge Streetcar! This line is one of Edmonton’s premier attractions. Ride into history along the former Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) trackage, from Edmonton’s historic Whyte Avenue, through the only tunnel ever built on a CPR mainline in Alberta, and across the High Level Bridge into Edmonton’s Downtown. The Strathcona stop is home to Edmonton Streetcar’s museum, and the Jasper Plaza terminus is less than a block from Jasper Avenue.

The High Level Bridge Streetcar operates Thursday through Monday from Friday, May 15, 2026 until Monday, September 7.

The Route

The High Level Bridge line travels from the Whyte Ave Terminus, stopping at Old Strathcona, 107 Street, Garneau, Government Centre, and our Jasper Plaza Terminus before turning back. A return ticket allows you to disembark from the car at a stop and return on any trip of your choosing (on busy days you can experience both operating cars).
