NOTICE: The fountain and change rooms are currently closed. The fountain will remain closed on Saturday, May 16 due to inclement weather. Splash Day programming on May 16, 2026 will move inside City Hall.
Celebrate the arrival of summer with a family-friendly afternoon in the heart of Edmonton! Pack your sunscreen and towel and head to the Arts District at City Hall Plaza and Sir Winston Churchill Square for this free event.
Activities:
- Games, including table tennis, basketball, street hocket, big chess & checkers, Jenga and giant Lego
- Music from DJ Seaglass
- Entertainment by Sangea Academy
- Artist-led crafts
- A Miles Davis Jazz Concert in City Hall at 1:30 PM, followed by a relaxing gong-centred sound bath at 3PM
- Food trucks + a free drink from The Hallway Café
